some secondaries ask if "have you recieved a degree yet?", if you answer yes they prompt you with a "what are your future plans essay"; Im thinking of cinncinnati at the moment.
I will receive a degree in july or august, should I wait to submit the secondary until after I hav received the degree or submit prospectively?

Just submit it early

Also is there any real difference between being awarded a degree and physically having received it? If you graduated already (I'm assuming you did) just check yes.

Just submit it.

Future plans could make a great update letter (if you need it) or be great interview conversation. Adding stuff as the app season progresses is always good because it keeps you in constant contact.

Same situation here. I basically just said I have graduated and then proceeded to say what I have planned for my off year.

I think they just want to know whether or not you are going to be in school full time or if not then what kind of productive activities are you doing with your time?
