On the real DAT --are they allowed to make HALF hole in the folds?

Because I do know that the ADA have rules and regulation as far as the "PAT" section goes. Going over CRACK DAT.. I find a lot of the questions have that half hole punch in them.

As of July 2007, NO

Thats a plus!!.. in that sense, they made it easier to get a higher PAT score! thanks DAN

dan - where did you learn that there are no "half-holes"? I am curious to know if there is a publicly available source that states the "pat rules"...

while i am here, does anyone know if 1/8 folds (both diagonal and horiz/vert)???

Sometimes, practice is not good.

If you practice pretty much, you may attain a kind of sense.
But, I always had experienced that this kind of habit and sense formed from Vigorous practice can lead me not to think but merely depend on previous experience and memory. If the test is modified somehow, it is highly likely to make a mistake. Like...it may not be answer, but choose it instead of what I think as the most correct one for safety reason. (plus, time pressure!!)

If you practice with just moderate amount, I think it will not only allow you to solidify time management skill, active strategy, etc, but also to build up problem solving attitude, which I think is the most important during the test.

And, I believe this is the most important thing during PAT. 👍
