Hey all,
I had a question regarding this hole punching problem. The second fold shows only one of the papers being folded downward, so I was wondering how that would be depicted when you do the LOS method? The answer is E.

oh sorry, I know how it was folded, I'm just confused as to where to mark the Xs on my grid? Since it's only half folded you dont put Xs on the other side of the line of symmetry?

You do mark the X's (I drew dots instead) on the other side of the LOS as seen in picture #2 (see attached image). Then you unfold half of the paper down to get picture #3. But note that in picture #1, there are no holes punched into the very top row so your answer would be E.

SDDDAT makes a good suggestion. That works well.
For me personally, I just mentally note the placeholders for the simpler problems and draw circles for the Harder ones haha
