is it possible to fold it like these 3?

Of course it is. Numbers 2 an 3 are very basi folds and will appear in nearly every question. Number 1 is a little more difficult. However all can show up.

one or two lines are missing in each of your examples. These folds are not depicted correctly. WHere did you get them from?

Your right i looked at them too fast they are off a drop or missing steps or something.

I think what hes trying to show here are papers that were folded and then half of the paper was unfoled and half not. If that is what is being shown here then there are no such folds on the actual DAT.

1st one = I don't know if you can fold it toward the screen(away from you).
2nd &3rd = how can you make a line without folding the paper? both examples have exact same size of paper before and after meaning there was no fold but there is an additional line.

i got these from Barron.

Barron. and a lot of problems are like these even though I only showed 3 examples. I found more than 10 that are just like these.

Well Barrons are full of mistakes, but over here it seems like they are partially unfolding something which is illegal. On the DAT once something is folded it is never unfolded.

even if I want to take an illegal step, i don't know if that's possible. Could you explain 2nd and 3rd examples using an illegal folding/unfolding?

In the second one what was done is the first brought the top down to the bottom. This was done before the picture you are showing. Then the took the front layer of the bottom row and folded up one level. The back layer of the second row was left in place.

In the third one what was done is they first folded top to bottom and then right to left. This was done before the picture you are showing. Then they folded for the upper left corner to the lower right corner of the little square, but they again only folded the front row. The back row was left in place.

A similar fold was employed in the first one too. These folds are against DAT policy and will not show up on your DAT.

AH~ I get it now. Even though it's one paper, once it's folded, it becomes 2 layer of half paper and they only fold/unfolded 1 layer and left the other layer. Correct?

is it really illegal or is it possible to find this in actual DAT or other matierials?

I told you twice, it is illegal and you will never find it on any other material source. Even Kaplan doesnt make an error this bad and Kaplans sucks.
