Hey everyone!

So I've been doing hole punching on the generators on bootcamp and I usually get 14-15 right in about 10 minutes. I started doing hole punches from the practice test and WOW....completely different world. Theres multiple hole punches which i've never seen in the generators. I got 13/15 in 15 minutes, just the time killed me.

What is the actual exam closer to the generators or the practice tests (or even for any PAT section)?

Thanks in advance!

The generators are good for if you want to practice a little bit before you sleep but the real deal is vastly different. You will understand why the average is 20 when you have to take an entire 5 hour exam and use your brain for a long time. My suggestion is to take full practice tests to simulate the actual exam and use the generators only as a supplement.

So would you say that the bootcamp subject tests are more representative? And are there multiple hole punches on the real exam?

yeah hole punching was easy after a while but not after practicing a lot. Bootcamp is most representative. There were at most 2 or 3 hole punches in the exam but it was definitely doable. Master this easy section and concentrate on harder sections like keyhole etc

@virtualmaster999 I felt the same way about the hole punching on the bootcamp practice exams vs the generators - exams seem much harder. Especially the ones with multiple half holes and/or folding into the page rather than out - these take much longer to solve and killed my timing. @Harvey_Dent should we expect to see questions like these on the real thing?
