Does holepunching take anyone else 10+ minutes? I'm doing the 4x4 grid method :/. KAPALAN recommended that you spend little time on holepunches... I'm not sure how I would do that w/o guessing on a few -_-.

I'm using the same method and it's taking me just about as long as you to finish that section. I honestly wouldn't worry too much about what Kaplan recommends as they're not you nor do they know anything about your strengths and/or weaknesses. Personally, I've found though that I fly through angles, cube counting, and pattern folding with very good results, so I allow myself a little longer for the tougher keyholes, TFEs, and hole punching problems.

these used to take me the longest, they still take almost 10 min on CDP, but achiever hole punches seems ezier. its just practice, keep on going at it, these you shouldnt miss cuz they are ez points. for me anyways. now angles.... thats a problematic area for everyone lol

It becomes easier with practice. Angles are easy for me...I just did a CDP angles test and I got 15/15.

Haha yeah, I guess all you can really do is practice. Really trying to get holepunching down b/c I feel I'll need lotsa extra time for TFE now that I hear line counting won't work too well :/.

Angles are somewhat inconsistent for me 😛. Sometimes I'll do great, other times not so hot.... Kinda worrisome but what can you do?

How much time are you guys planning to use in each section?

I dedicate about 25 minutes to key holes and top front end. then i fly through cube counting, angle ranking and hole punching and usually have about 15 minutes left for pattern folding..... score 20 on PAT both times, which i think is very very weak. i would score over 22 on topscore and its harder than dat !
