Europe Holidays practice in Germany

Hello
I'm medical student on Warsaw Universtity of Medicine on fourth year. I would like to go to Germany on holidays practice. My question is what hospital would you recommend to choose ? I'm interesting in general surgery and that's my planning, future specialization so it would be nice if the hospital would be a good surgical clinic.

Even though you're closer to the east, I would avoid any place (outside of Berlin) in the former east Germany, due to a more extreme form of discrimination against people from Poland and much less tolerance for language differences.

Recommendations are of course places scenic, so you're going to get to major cities. Of course, there's always Heidelberg and LMU, but they are competitive.
