Some medical schools incorporate The Healers Touch -- discussion group thingy, nothing here about laying on of hands --, but I do not know residency programs.
 
Since people toss the word "holistic" around like used panties, could you clarify your meaning? Are you referring to a "whole person" approach to medicine, or the incorporation of alternative/complimentary therapies, or something else?

Incidentally, anyone who states that allopathic medicine does not treat the whole person has never seen a problem list on an IM H&P.

i was thinking along the line of alternative and comp. tx, as which i feel goes along with treating the whole person

I think that there are some good programs in Guangzhou, China that teach some alternative therapies.
