Ok, homolytic cleavages are the rare ones.
And only intiating and propagating steps do it. Terminating is the exact opposite of a homolytic cleavage. Two single electrons come together.
Propagating includes one homolytic and one homolytic opposite 🙂
Hetero is like a leaving group leaving (it takes the electrons with it when it leaves).
