Honorable mention...counts as award?

Hi guys, i got an award of honorable mention for this spanish essay writing contest administered over 60 universities..that over 1000 students participate in. is this somthing i can include on my app as an award or is it no big deal?

I'd definitely spiff it up and say like "recognized by reward" or something. Be broad enough that honorable mention falls into it without actually saying you lost 😀
