No. That shows up on the transcript.

This info is per previous threads and notable contributors of this forum.

So, along the same lines, have most of your schools designated AOA yet for the purpose of applying to residencies? My school has yet to award AOA.

You can update that info on your profile from dashboard once elections are done.

In the Medical School Honors/Awards section of ERAS, do they want you to put in Honors grades from classes and clerkships?

I know most of us have already submitted, but I think that this is important to clarify...

It depends on the school. At my school, there are NO grades on our transcript. (Weird, I know.) We were instructed specifically to include any honors related to grades as otherwise the programs will not see them until the MSPE release. If there's any doubt, I would ask your school.

No grades on your transcript? What the hell is it there for then? At the time most of them are transmitted, all that's on them are your first 3 years and maybe your July and August rotations. So your transcript basically says "Drtinycat took all the same classes as every other med student in the country." How is that even useful?

I would figuratively KILL for a transcript that said that. Figuratively.

Also I would figuratively kill for a transcript that included my name as "Drtinycat" instead of [my name].

I didn't make the rules, so I'm not sure what they were thinking. We enroll through the university for 20 credits of "Med Coll 660" or something like that each term (so they can bill us, of course - it always boils down to $$). The College of Medicine apparently doesn't provide the university with any actual grades for us. This is admittedly not useful, but I guess we still have to submit a transcript for proof of enrollment and to cover for those who may have grades from MPH, MHA, etc.

Are they at least listed in your MSPE? I wouldn't be pleased if I worked my ass off for my grades and programs never saw them. Well unless you knew before hand that they wouldn't.

Grades are definitely in the MSPE along with complete narratives from each rotation. I actually think my school puts together a pretty nice MSPE, although admittedly I don't have much to compare to.

I really think this is minor in the grand scheme of things. I'm sure PDs are used to receiving information in different formats based on the applicant, school, etc.
