I was recently put on the waitlist/ stand by for PCO. I was just wandering if anyone in general has been put on the waitlist this late (doesn't matter what school) and was still accepted into the program. Thanks in advance for your time,

I'm on the alternate/waitlist for RSO and have the same question. Anybody's help would be greatly appreciated regarding this matter. Thanks!

At PCO, they said that the alternate list is not based on first come first serve. It doesn't matter when you were added on the list. Once a seat becomes available, they look at all the candidates on the list and accept the best candidate. Hope that helps.

Yeah, thanks. That does help a little. I'm just curious as to the average number of people they take off the waiting list between now and August.

The idea of people waiting to get into PCO is such perfect proof of their ability to advertise the school as something completely different than what it is. It would be like waiting on a list to take a hike through the desert without water.

Are you a student at PCO? If so, what are your issues with the school? Would love to hear them?

Has anyone been called off the waitlist from RSO yet?

I am, and I could write a book about the issues. Send me a PM, and I'll tell you about my experiences. I'd rather not do it on the open forum.

I'm glad I didn't pick PCO lol. The one negative thing that truly stood out to me at my interview was how far away the school was from the clinic, but that's just me.

I agree. I'm glad I didn't choose PCO.

I do wish I could choose SCO like you though, but I have been rejected. Well actually waitlisted, but seems like the same thing in my experience. Sucks I applied so late.

Will you be starting elsewhere in the fall? Applying early is def key I think.

Yeah, it's also in a really bad part of the city. Walking to and from your car at night by yourself (and driving in the general area at night) is not a pleasant experience.

I definitely noticed that as well! Philadelphia in general wasn't pleasant to me. I didn't like what I saw driving from the airport to Salus.

Yes, I will be attending ICO.

I wasn't expecting to like SCO going into my interview, but the interview day blew me away. A little disappointed things didn't work out, but I'm really excited for ICO as it also seems like a great school.

Yes. The city was full of garbage everywhere. Very dirty. I became something of a national traveler from all my interviews and Philadelphia as a city left the worst impression.

anyone on the waitlist for MCPHS? any idea when we'll hear anything?

Try call them or email them. I was wait listed from march til end of may. But just this week I got accepted after going to the interview on the 17th.

Good luck!

if we'r still waitlisted, are the chances of getting in low? considering its almost july.

in my opinion, just call the school and find out about your status. Also ask them when will be the latest time you will hear back from them.

I doubt there is very many people still holding on to multiple acceptances at this point. It's not impossible to get in off a waitlist, but the chances certainly are low.
