Hey everyone, just wanted to share my OAT experience in case it helps anyone prepping right now.
Scores:
I’m a third-year Bio-Med student with a 3.7 GPA. I studied for the OAT over 3 months while working 40 hrs/week, doing research (3–4 hrs/week), and staying active (gym/walks daily). I followed OATBooster’s 12-week schedule religiously.
Study routine:
Used this exclusively and it fully prepared me. Videos, notes, question banks, and practice tests were all solid. Super representative of the actual exam. Would highly recommend to anyone writing the OAT.
Test day notes:
Booster prepared me well for all sections. QR was a bit tougher than Booster’s practice, but everything else felt fair. No surprises, just stayed calm and trusted the prep.
Final advice:
You don’t need to study 10 hrs/day to do well. I stuck to 4–5 hrs/day while balancing work, research, sleep, and social time. Consistency > cramming. Get rest, stay active, and use your weekends wisely. If you follow the Booster schedule and put in steady effort, you'll be ready.
Let me know if you have any questions—happy to help. Good luck to anyone preparing!

Study routine:
- Phases 1 & 2: Did the full content review, stuck to the schedule 100%. Studied 4–5 hrs/day on weekdays and used weekends to catch up when needed.
- Phase 3: Followed Booster’s test days, reviewed bio flashcards, redid physics & math question banks, finished orgo, and redid all RC sets (3/day). I didn’t review general chem in Phase 3.
- Wish I had started bio flashcards earlier—start those in Phase 2 if you can!
