Hi there,

Just a quick FYI that Johns Hopkins seem to be alive and kicking: I just received an e-mail from them reporting a complete secondary. I love their end note, to the tune of: your file review may take several weeks up to the end of April to complete. 😱

I mailed my app. on 8/04/03 and I got the email this morning. They did email me on the 18th saying that my app. was there, but my LOR weren't. Hope that helps.

I actually mailed in the secondary on June 30, and my letters of rec were mailed on july 1st. I got the completion email on 8/14.... random...

Hi there,

My file was complete (including letters of reference) and received by Hopkins on August 11th and I just received the above e-mail today. So it took them 2-and-a-bit weeks to turn it around and push it into the next pile. 😛

I mailed in my secondary in early July. But my LORs weren't sent out until 2 weeks ago. I haven't gotten an e-mail yet.

i sent my secondary in in the last week of july; just got the confirmation e-mail this afternoon.

Good luck, everyone. Don't be discouraged by the aloofness of the admissions office, or if it takes them 6 months to interview you(people still get admission offers from Feb. interviews). Hopkins is great. 🙂
