trust me I have gone through the search function and nothing. Basically im due for an upgrade (verizon) and am contemplating getting a pda. But just not sure if it is really needed. would a 50 dollar lexicomp drug book do just fine? about what percentage of young pharmacist use pda's? my interest is to work in a hospital setting, and I start interning this summer. thanks for the help

You should check out the new i760 or 6800 that just came out a few months back with Verizon. I was carrying my pda around everywhere so when my contract was up, I upgrade to a pda/phone combo. I love mine and it's nice not having all the gadgets in my pocket!

I use Lexi-Comp with a blackberry. I find it very useful, but the only disadvantage is that you need decent signal strenght to use it. It has to connect to the lexi servers and if your phone has very low signal strenghth it will take a long time to load.

I have gone through all of my rotations without one. It would have come in handy yeah but I got by without it.

ya that seems to be the feeling with alot of people, i guess I will just opt for the standard flip phone, would have been a great excuse to shell out hundreds on a high tech phone though (though also could have been a pain)
