How many of you guys work as interns in a hospital pharmacy? Do you like it? And what does your work mainly consist of? I'm in the middle of applying for an intern position at a hospital, and while I did get a job description, I thought you guys could give me an insider's look. ALSO, what's the dress code??? I'm hoping I won't have to show up in a shirt and tie like my retail job. 😳

Thanks for your input!

our interns pretty much work as techs. they also dress as techs, which is wearing scrubs, every day. beats a shirt and tie!

Besides making IVs, you spend times being a delivery person sorta like the people who work at the cafeteria bringing food to the different nursing units. You deliver the medications to the machines on time.

As I see it, you are a delivery boy or girl at the hospital. Fun...
