I am curious about other hospital pharmacists. I am in Washington state and work full-time in a hospital as a staff pharmacist with some clinical duties. The hours are so variable and it's so hard to get used to. Is this common in hospital pharmacy? Do you get used to it? Is it much better in retail hour-wise?

Yes, its common. Yes, I got used to it. It finally got much better when I told them when I'd work. Retail is longer days.
