August and September will be hot, so do you think its appropriate to wear a suit without a blazer jacket? Basically just pants + shirt + tie.

Your take?

I would stick with the pants and jacket...just gonna have to deal with the heat for a day.

I agree Finchy. I'll definitely be sporting a jacket regardless of the temperature.

Go with the jacket. All the buildings will be air conditioned.

Oh I dunno. I say jacket off.

Eh. On second thought, might as well stick with the jacket.

button down shirt or a buttoned down t-shirt?

A possible alternative... both trendy and sophisticated.

Jacket off till you get to the door of the building, then jacket on

Rain or scorching heat, suck it up, make an impression, this is your future

I live in Texas, so this is how I am dressing to my interview. ^ plus I want to make an impression.

Wear formal business attire. Suit, tie, dress shoes. Your professional appearance counts, and they will take note of it.

If it is hot out, raining, or you are in transit, it is fine to keep the jacket off. Just put it on once you get into the interview building, which should be appropriately heated or cooled. I would also say it is appropriate to ditch it for lunch (sleeves interfere with eating) and periods of extended sitting - if you see people hanging their jackets somewhere or on their chairs, you can do so too.
