No, but I heard it is not bad but you will have to walk to MMS or take the shuttle. I stayed at the Kahler which is right across from MMS...
i stayed at the 29 buck place (colonial inn). i gotta say..that place was exactly what you'd expect for 29 bones. it was more a dorm/hostel. no private shower (private toilet though), the shaggy 70s style carpet and cigarette burns on the blanket. it was literally 2 blocks from the med school office though. that's the only good part. 🙂
I stayed at the colonial, and the lady only charged me $15! I thought it would be 30, but guess not. it was a sweet deal, even if the room was pretty sketchy. you can deal with anything for one night though, and it's within walking distance. have fun at the interview
Or better yet, stay with a student host to get the inside scoop. If you would rather stay in a nicer hotel than the Colonial Inn (which is safe, just old) just about any of the others will have a free shuttle service to the clinic. The medical school is across the street from the Mayo Building or you can go through the pedestrian subway.
