Hotels in New york for NYU interview

Can anybody help me out on where to stay? Obviously, cost and location are important.

i've stayed at Hotel 31. it's only several blocks away from NYU and most of all very affordable. the only thing bothered me was that you have to share the bathroom with other people. other than that, it's a small cute place which is fine enough to stay couple nights.

I got a sweet deal on the Hyatt right beside Grand Central Station, it was $170 for the night through expedia! (cause I booked my flight with them too) It's a gorgeous place to stay and the beds are sooo comfortable. Regular price though is like 3 bills for the night, so look for deals!

Oh and btw it's only like 3 subway stops from NYU and a short walk after then 🙂

I stayed at the Broadway Plaza Hotel. It's not bad...I think it was $112 a night through hotels.com. And NYUCD is within walking distance (about 15-20 minutes at a decent walking pace) if the weather permits. I give it my approval. 👍

When I went to NYC I stayed at Bentley Hotel in upper east side..which is pretty close to the dental school. I really did not have high hopes of it, since the price at around 100 dollars a night was descent, but it was awesome!!! We had a view of the bridge (forgot the name of it. It's the one King Kong climbs). The room was spacious, comfortable, and it was a safe area. Plus, there are some latin chicks two blocks from ....j/k..peace

book on priceline.com....i got a great room for my girlfriend 2 minutes away from NYU dental for $88...and then I got upgraded to the junior suite. I was able to park directly in front of the hotel for free. Murray Inn estates was the name of the hotel.....their rooms normally go for around $200.

yeah, check out the Marcel Hotel. thats where i stayed on my interview visit. the hotel is right next to the d-school. can't beat that. believe its on east 24th.
