Does anyone remember what hotkeys were available for use during the DAT? Can you press A to select answer choice A? Can you press N to go to the next question?

Thanks, I'm taking it on Friday and want to have a heads up.

I took it in September and from what I remember I don't think these hot keys are available. You have to click the answer choice and next button to move onto the next question. good luck on your test friday.

Ctrl + F= Find. Useful for RC part.

I dont think that works on the actual DAT. If it does then damnit why didnt I know that. It would have made my life so much easier.

Ctrl F would be a dream for reading comp ... all keys are disabled during the test ... believe me I tried.

If you push Alt+Tab, you will go to the desktop and you can go online and look up questions

LOL unfortunately they record yur answer every second so pulling the plug or restatrting the computer will not help you at all. I have a friend whos computer got turned off in middle of the exam and all his work was saved.

It must have been just the monitor that got unplugged...

during my test i asked what would happen if the building lost power and the proctor told me that everything is continuously backed up on a server and nothing is lost ... Worst case you would continue from your current spot on a later date.

No the computer got unplugged and the entire thing shut down. hey had t reboot his computer. OMG he was panicking, but theytold him to relax it would be ok everything is backed up by the second.

Thanks all who made a joke out of this post. I found that a,b,c, and d did select the answers. It probably saves 20 min which I had at end of each section at the minimum. so go screw yourselves.
Thanks for all that made useful posts.

You go ahead and keep telling urself that you can save 20 mins by taking your hand off the mouse and pressing A,B,C,D on a keyboard. Rather doing that, just move the mouse 1 inch, and select your and and move it one again to click next.

jeez, angry much? people are just trying to have a little fun! nothing wrong with a few laughs...

anyway; I know on topscore you can use 'n' and 'p' to go to the 'next' and 'previous' questions...i'm not sure if it would work on the orginal DAT.

THe only useful thing would be CTRL+F...IF IT WORKED...all you need to know is that it doesnt.....the whole next and previous and typing ABCorD is rediculous.....i do not see how doing that would be faster than using the mouse which was invented to be quicker. You will never save 20 mins by typing the letter and you are more at risk of making a mistake! seriously you guys...can we...okay..............i j*zz right in my pants everytime i read this thread.
