How many hours a week do actual practicing physicians work (I'm talking about after residency)
I know it varies per specialty but if someone could shed light on this it would be much appreciated.

My mom is a pediatrician and only sees patients for maybe 30 hours/week (not including call or working weekends), but adding on call and routine/followup phone calls and doing research and finishing up complicated chart notes at home? Easily 50-60 hours a week.
