You think they would have success with that show? What could be some cases?
Patient: "My tooth hurts."
House: "Quick, tell someone who cares."
Patient: "But you're my dentist!"
House: *pluck* "All better."
Patient: "Thanks."
House: "See the secretary on the way out."

Although he would probably have incorporated a 30 second rant that is probably more fitting as a soliloquy.

And he would pop a couple of pills before he pulled the tooth out.

They should make a cartoon show about a dentist. It could be a fox, and he would take care of all his woodland friends. He would be Foxy, DDS. The kids would love him... and he'd shatter that stererotype that kids fear dentists.
Any of you want to pitch that to one of your big shot producer friends, consider it a gift.
Bam! I'm a genius.

Maybe the most interesting thing is that House the fictional character is a genius, while Hugh Laurie the real guy had 3rd honors = a little above a C average (gentleman's degree.) In other words. He may not have made it into dental school. 🙄 Still a great actor and kind of hot.
Perfect, except for one more detail: in House, DDS' practice, every incipient cavity would develop into a life-threatening cavernous sinus thrombosis thanks to the bumbling incompetence of every other dentist in the world, and he'd have to perform an emergency Cavitron craniotomy against the orders of his local peer review board in order to save the patient's life.Patient: "My tooth hurts."

House, DMD would almost certainly be a huge hit.
All I know is that House, DDS would have some sort of chronic pain in his mouth which is why he'd be popping percocets all the time.

Severe TMJ pain!
...Cavitron craniotomy...
Ouch
