Im looking for a 3 bedroom apt starting begining of July in Presidio, specifically Baker Beach. I know Pacific has a lottery, but you can never do too much right? If anyone will have one available or know someone who will please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks! Had not seen that website before.

Not sure exactly what you're looking for. If you want to get into the prresidio apartments, I think you need to A. Go through the school lottery system or B. Go through the Presidio leasing office, though I think if you go with option "A" you get a prreferred rate.

I agree, I will be applying for the lottery and have already been put on a waiting list at presidio. An office worker at presidio told me if I could find someone moving out I could just take over their lease at the same price - sounded a lot easier, but I dont think there is a very big turn over rate there - or maybe im just a little too early. Ill keep waiting. Thanks

Oh I see. Well most if not all of the Pacific students in the Presidio end up going through the school, but I'm not sure if the school leases those units, or if they're reserved or something along those lines. Either way call up Kathy Candito, she has her finger on the pulse of who's going to be vacating at the end of the year and where they are.

Oh, there is a turnover rate in the Presideo...that's for sure. At least, there are people who want to move out but can't always find a way to get someone to take their lease.

My suggestion is to just go through the normal housing routine. But if you don't get Presideo Housing or housing at the main building, don't sign a year lease. There is always someone trying to move out of housing or out of the Presideo after a few months...but they usually don't have anyone to cover their leases.
