Can any UNLV dental students please give me any suggestions as to where to rent an apartment? I need to find a 1 bedroom apt close to unlv and in a safe area. Thanks a lot for your help 👍

How much is your budget?

Short answer: look west of campus, beyond decatur

Longer answer: there are some unique places near the campus if you are lucky and do some shopping. My aunt has a 5unit nearby that i lived in for 2 years of undergrad that was really cool and unusual for the city. But any of the 'complex' type places near that campus that you find in the rental magazines are going to be pretty shady. If you want to live in the good neighborhoods, look west towards summerlin or the lakes.

Yes, that's correct. The main campus is about 20+ minutes away, depending on the time of day (traffic, etc).

For clarification, I'm specifically referring to the dental campus, which I lived near for 2 years.

FYI, in years past the admissions office has set up a message board for the incoming class so everyone can network and find roommates, etc. It was sometime during the summer, I can't remember exactly when.
