I will be moving to Philadelphia in July to start a Pedo Residency. I know that a lot of the dental students take the subway to the dental school, but I will be at Episcopal Hospital Temple....is there any public transportation to the hospital that is safe, or is a car a must?

I am looking in Olde Town, Rittenhouse Square....any other places I should look or that would be more convenient? Thanks for the help, I know there are a lot of Temple Students/Grads on these blogs.

Yes, you can take the elevated train (Market-Frankford line or "blue line") east from center city. There is a stop just a couple blocks from Episcopal.

I thought you would have to travel to Temple hospital from time to time, but that's something you would have to ask one of the residents.

I love SEPTA.
