For those of you that are going to PCO or are students I was wondering about people who are choosing to live alone. I am planning on doing that but seeing as I have not recieved my financial award letter I do not know how much I am working with in terms of money. all I have is the typical budget from last year that they gave me when i came to interview. It does not appear from that budget that they give enough. I am not quite sure because perhaps there is an updated budget and maybe the prices went up. My question is that for those of you who live alone how do you swing the rent. Are you able to rely just on loan money or do you kick in some of your own???

Thanks for those that can help clear this up for me.

I would say I have to "kick in some of my own" since rent is pretty high near PA.. I rented a 1 bedroom Jr for 875 / month! I'll also have my car down there so that's definitely going to be higher than the one stated in the one provided

Hey you can probably call PCO and get the info that is on your award letter. They all ready sent a copy to the apartment complex I am leasing from, I just haven't received my actual copy of the award letter yet. They sent that letter for me about a week ago, so I am sure your info would be ready too. This way you can go ahead and get an idea about your financial situation.

I lived on my own at Cedarbrook (now known as Triology) for a 1bdrm for 959 then after a year 997--the loan money was enough to pay for it.
