Anyone else find it hard to push the submit button on the application? I finally did it today before my MCAT scores came in! I swore up and down that I would wait but my finger had a mind of it's own. Just wanted to be done with the whole thing. Now i'm debating on which schools I "should" have applied to!

Do not fret, for you can still add some schools after you receive your scores. How many did you apply to? Besides, there isn't that great of a difference between average MCAT scores at the schools. I have compiled the stats for all the schools and they range from the lowest at 23 in Pikesville to 27-30 at UNECOM. As long as you are in the range or better you will be fine. What you need to do now is have your letters of recommendation sent in so that your application will be complete early. The first mailing to school occurs in mid-June, although I don't know if submitting today gives them enough time to develop a profile. You will have to e-mail them on that. Start writing secondaries essays.

thanks for the reply. How long do you think the apps. will actually take to get to the schools once we hit the submit button? Do all the schools usually send secondaries regardless of your stats and do they charge u another fee on top of the $500 I just dished out?

HE HE HE... there is always some other fee. Secondaries cost money. The average amount I would say is around $50, some more, some less depending on the school. As far as actually getting a secondary you must meet the schools minimum academic requirements first. If you don't for some reason and really want to go there I would encourage you to call the school and talk it over with an admissions counselor.

Good luck!!!
