How about adding "spell check" to the message and "top" button on the bottom of each page? Mods, is it still doable? I think this would make life easier. What do you all think? 🙂

Wow you people are clever. This forum is just packed with clever people. Someone mentioned spell check and suddenly we have a contest to see who can spell the most normal words incorrectly. Clever. I honestly would never have thought to do that. I wish I was as clever as all of you.

What ever Jeppedo, I know you know what it's like, I can tell by your avatar that you've been a captain of at least one brown submarine.

We can mention it to the admins, but we lowly mods don't have that kind of pull around here just by ourselves. 😀

I agree that the spell-check idea is a pretty good one, though. Maybe we can get that added if it wouldn't be too much of a technical headache to implement.

I agree things like that would be nice, but as Bill has pointed out he and I don't have much say in those matters. There was a list that was up for a while in which the SDN was asking for feedback for such matters. It's gone and the suggestions have been compiled and examined. I think spellcheck was on that list - I'm not sure.

When would such improvements come? The last one we had literally started to smoke and we almost lost everything. A new one is in place, but with Lee being gone and the increase in traffic this site is experiencing I think the admins just want to keep things running on a more or less even keel for the time being. But who knows, the site might get a make over tomorrow or next year.

button when you're making a post (you can always use an internet image hosting service to put your personal pics online) or, if it isn't something online you can download it as an attachment
