How accurate are the Dental School statistics #s on PreDDS?

How accurate are the Dental School statistics #s on PreDDS?

are the average GPA, DAT and %OOS generally accurate? any particular discrepancies?
also, the tuition numbers seem way under for many schools?

If you're referring to predents.com, I think their data was compiled from the ADEA guide from something like four or five years ago. So it's quite out of date. It's a good place to see applicant stats, though, assuming people keep their profiles up to date.

I had trouble finding averages for some schools on their sites...do they all have it? Some schools seem to just post a minimum to be competitive but its usually low

I spot checked against the version of the guide book they say they used to compile them (stats for 2010 entering students meant for those applying summer 2011). So it's one guide previous to the newest that came out a few months back. Seems to be a decent resource since not all schools report these stats on their websites.

For the 2011 entering class, the doc has made a spreadsheet on the average GPAs and DATs along with other info that can be found in the ADEA handbook.
