how accurate is the sample test in ada dat booklet? too easy???

so, I went through a dat sample test for the first time in the ada dat application booklet as a timed diagnostic test (without studyin') wondering how accurate the material is to the real test? is it suppose to be easier because it sure seem like it? can i use it to accurately gauge where my weaknesses are? or should i used kaplan as a diagnostic test? here is the score i got on it:

QRT: 23
RCT: 21
BIO: 19
GEN CHEM: 19
ORGO: 18
PAT: 21

SNS: 19
TOTAL AVG: 20.16

The sample one in the registration booklet doesn't compare to the actual DAT and is a poor indicator of your performance by and large.

In my opinion, the sample one is probably 7-8 points easier than the actual DAT.

You are right it is too easy. The objective of the sample is for you to get a little idea of what the test is about. I don't (and I think I speak for everyone) think that you should use that at all. Get Kaplan...Barron's....Top Score...Organic Chem review books...Bio review...etc etc. Also, I suggest that you go ahead and utilize some of the scribble scrabble we call notes (they come in very handy if they are good). If you really want to get a closer look at the actual DAT...take a Top Score exam...in my opinion it is a bit harder...but it comes very close...if you do well on Top Score...you will do fine on DAT...Study HARD!!! I just took the sample and got 22/23/21. I wish these were my actual scores =/
