How Active is uMich's waitlist??????

Anyone remember how active Umich's waitlist is? I mean i know it changes every year... but for its entering class, how many were taken off the wait list - say last year??????????

As I recall, we were told on the 10/04 interview date that the waitlist is extremely active, with ~1/3rd of the class coming from the list. Given UMich's relatively large class size, that's lots of people.

They even had all the people who had gotten in off the waitlist raise their hands, and indeed, it was at least 1/3rd of the people in the room.

Good luck; I withdrew ten days ago--there is definitely hope!

Last year's is HALF THE CLASS?????? that's RIDICULOUS! Are you sure about that?

1/3rd. yeah that kinda rings a bell now. how big is their class? like 165 theN?

so being a michigan resident, i guess i have a good chance 🙂 WOO! now i have to figure out how to get off this waitlist!

their entering class is about 170. 🙂 about 1/3 of that comes off the waitlist.
