Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone could give me feedback about my ECs. I’m planning on applying next cycle (2021-2022). This will be my 2nd gap year so I’m just making sure that I am on track before I apply. Please let me know if I need to add or improve anything!

Research Experience: 250 hours Histology Lab

Clinical Experience:
- 150 hospital (various departments ER, Pathology Lab, Rehab center: all at the same hospital just different semesters while on campus)
- 50 hours with the Red Cross
- 150 hours with Covid Screener

Shadowing Experience: 8 hours with a neurologist

Non-Clinical Volunteering:
- 200 hours serving meals to lower income children
- 100 hours cover 19 food distribution to seniors


Certifications
- I just received my EMT certification so I’m planning on finding a job hopefully soon


Jobs
- Assistant on campus for 2 years
- Student Center Member for 1 year

Intern
- 250 hours with as a health intern
- 250 hours as a research assistant (histology lab which I listed as research above)

Ideally, increase shadowing hours and be sure to shadow primary care in that time. Otherwise, you're Gucci.

Covid screener was clinical? Were you actually administrating the test or doing phone interviews?
