if you take an e-credited (no letter grade) course, what happens if you fail it? is that counted towards your gpa? how?

thanks.

i took plenty of pass/fail courses in undergrad... i can't say for any failed classes, but it seemed that those that i passed were simply for credit but not factored into my gpa. my calculations and AADSAS's were the same in that regard.

A pass/fail course cannot alter your gpa.
