Just wondering how my fellow Law-leavers are doing on the Verbal Reasoning section. Did you find it to be more difficult than LSAT or the Bar?

I just started studying for the MCAT and was a bit worried because I had heard from so many people how impossible the verbal was, etc. My first verbal score on the Kaplan diagnostic wasn't awesome - I kind of half-assed it and got a 10 - but it seems pretty similar to LSAT stuff. I'm pretty confident I should be able to do well on the Verbal...although there's quite a bit of pressure - it would look pretty dismal if a lawyer did not do well on the Verbal Reasoning section! 🙂

I'm no lawyer, but I think you'll do well. A 10 for your first practice test is quite good. It should be pretty easy to build on your foundation... just make sure to do lots of practice passages and exams.

Besides, the MCAT is probably a lot less pressure than the Bar exam 😀
