How is everyone feeling especially the first year students. Between going to class 8-5 monday thru friday, and waxing, studing for tests, writing paper for ethics, and ..... I don't think I have enough hour in a day to get all this stuff done. Am I the only one feeling like this or what? But all that being said I love being a dental student.

Yep... That's how my first year felt like. 😛 Glad that's behind me that's fer sure!

I don't want to say "it'll get better" because some people (like me!) found second year a lot harder..

Anyway, keep on truckin'!

So far so good. Can't complain. I had 10hrs of sleep last nite.

I'm feeling it...but loving it. Some days we finish at 2, other days at 4...but assignments, waxing, studying seem to take up all the time I have available.

The thing is that I'd like to hit the gym at least 3 times a week, as well as to join student clubs and sports. So I have been rearranging my schedule over and over again trying to find the most efficient set-up....hopefully, I'll figure it out soon.😀

Busy, busy, busy, even if my number of posts seems to denote otherwise (my laptop is with me 24/7 now).

I've already had one exam and three more within the next 10 days (Biochem, Ethics and Physio). Two papers too (Ethics and Evidence Based Practice) in that period. Tough to study with the sox in the middle of a good run at the division and wild card.

Professors are great so far, very direct and concise. Class is tight and very helpful. I can't complain about anything just yet.

Seem like us at ucsf are having much easier time than the rest. We only have anatomy for now until Oct.

Anatomy in the am, then pm is for etc stuff and lots of free time. We are enjoying new friendships, and enjoy the last week of sunshine of SF.

It always seems like that in dental school.
I remember thinking who the hek put this curriculum together , are they crazy? dont they know we are human!

But i suppose thats just part of it and like anything else it will pass and will leave nothing but memories whether those are sweet or bitter memories depends on your luck I guess!

Finished anatomy yesterday! 😀

The TAs could've flunked us all back to undergrad, but they opted to concentrate more on the primary, crucial stuff rather than drowning us in minutiae. Dental school rocks 😀

when does your spring semester end? Ours ends end of April but then we have to do an Apex rotation where we work in an office as a DA.

I caught up on my sleep this weekend. It seems that during the week there is no shortage of school work and socializing to keep me from my bed.

It's definitely an adjustment, but I think I'm where I should be right now.

We also finished Musculoskeletal on Friday. We have our final test on that this Monday, and then we start our next module...
