I've got five interviews lined up (already went on 1) and I know missing class is going to be a freaking nightmare. Next week, for instance, I will miss M-W.

The sh*tty part is I am taking 18 credits with two tough sciences with labs this term (had to in order to get my double major in 4 years). Oh well, I guess I'll have to hope profs are understanding.

It also sucks because my grades this term are going to definitely matter because my state school (University of Washington) puts just about everyone on the waitlist post-interview and doesn't pick people until March. They require a transcript after fall semester.

Profs are usually chill about missing for academic stuff...esp grad school. I got excused out of all sorts of HWs/labs/exams last year. Don't worry, just plan and manage your time well and you'd be surprised at how much you can fit in.

I'm sorry for you. I'm lucky as I was able to reduce to 12 credits this year, plus I haven't had to schedule too many interviews at any one time yet. I think profs should be pretty understanding, just let them know as soon as possible. And plan some reward for yourself after the hell is over, a weekend vacation or at least some massive party that you can look forward to. That may help you stay on task...

Good luck w/ all the interviews!

My professors are NOT being understanding...many of my classes aren't typical "pre-med" classes and they could care less that I'm going to be gone for 2 weeks for interviews (11 set up). I'm taking 18 units too, but only 1 lab. It's going to be a stressful quarter.
