Community college transfer. 4.0GPA
Then 1 st semester got organic chem 2 and physics 2 A's Genetics B
Summer: A's on some side classes

Then....this semester. Overloaded myself. A lot of class, and research and travel on the side too.

Eukaryotic Cell Structure and Function
Functional Vertebrate Anatomy
Biochemistry
Calculus 2

Pretty sure I did B's straight across the board.

How bad is that to have? Do these medical school programs take mistake semesters like this into account, or is it going to look like "hmmm, this ***** from community college couldn't handle biochem."

mess around with this http://www.back2college.com/gpa.htm

I had a semester of straight B's, a 3.0. Got into med school just fine.

If it develops into a downward trend, then it could hurt you, but if the rest of your semesters are more like your first, then it shouldn't be an issue.

Not that bad. If you get straight Bs this sem and then straight As next sem (assuming you don't take all GE classes) then that's another thing you can talk about on your PS or interview.
