how bad is the december interviews?

I got 2 interviews in December.
I was wondering how bad it is compared to pre-December interviews.

Not horrible, most of the schools will likely have half of their seats still open by the time you interview. All my interviews were in February or later and I got in just fine.

post dec 1 interviews should have a dramatically lower acceptance rate I would imagine since schools have already sent out their full batch of acceptances before you even step in the door.

December 1st is just the first date schools are allowed to notify applicants of acceptances...it is not necessarily when they send out all their acceptances. Even if it is for some schools, not every single acceptance means an enrollment.
