Hello y'all, Just really wanted yall's opinion on this matter
Recently I had an interview at a school where I was presented a pretty simple ethical question regarding academic honesty( e.g., upperclassmen give you answers to a quiz, do you take it?). My answer was mostly centered around honest learning and the importance of finding the answers myself and being a honest student. But I stupidly concluded my answer with something to the effect of..... "I'm also helping my friend, if he or I were caught, we would both be expelled and that's not good... hahaha"
I actually had no idea why I said that, probably because I tried to prolong my answer due to nerves( I tend to ramble 🙁 h). I really hope the committee wouldn't look at this answer and think that I'm only not cheating because I disnt want to risk expulsion. How bad do you think this answer is? I sincerely this blunder doesn't kill my chances at this school.
Thanks guys
