In some of the secondaries with form fields, there isn't a whole lot of room to type a lot text (ex Tulane). Is there anyway to make the font smaller to fit more in? or is everyone forced to just write in the space provided with the default font size (a sort of character limit)?

you can go in and change the textbox settins manually, but i wouldnt recommend this unless the PDF isnt editable in the first place. if they have made it so that you can type in it already (as it seems from what you said is the case with tulane), i wouldnt mess with it. they would have said use additional paper if you need more room if they allowed you to write more than the space provides for.

Your school probably has computers in the library with Adobe Acrobat installed on them. You can use those to edit the PDFs and change the text box font size. I have the full version, and I had to do it on a few. Sometimes the text was too big for the box, and the top half of the text was cut off by the box on top of it.

Tools --> Advanced Editing --> Forms --> Text Box Tool. Then you should be able to either just delete the old field and put your own in, or you might be able to edit the field. Either way works.

will this get an adcom angry?

Over font you use? Not unless it's like Wingdings or Symbols.

TNR 12 works universally, anything fancy and it's probably more annoying than angry.

well i was under the impression that secondaries have the preset font for a reason, and that decreasing the font size etc will be more for them to read, and hence cause anger. kind of like cheating?

I used it more for when the adcoms didn't know how to use Acrobat. As in, they used a font size too big for the box and it cut off what I was writing.

I don't know if anyone know the skill to change font size in PDF for this post is 5 yea old. But I am just register to post here.

Actually until now there is still some problems about this, last time I want to get a bigger font size of my PDF eBook for easy reading with a poor sight. And I got Infix PDF editor to fix it.

You can change font of your file as you do in Ms Word program. It's super easy compared to Acobat!
