Anyone know how I can get my focus on track for verbal? It basically comes down to the fact that I get 10s on VR when I can focus and 7s when I can't. I don't know what it is but there is something that triggers my focus and I can't quite figure it out. Anyone have any advice for focus? I know practice, but it's like I've been taking VR tests forever and I just can't get a rhythm down cuz it's like 10 one day and 7 the next. I don't really think it's a VR strategy problem, just a brain problem and being uniterested in the VR.

You've got to fool yourself into believing that every single passage is something fascinating. Even when it's about the similarities between medieval paintings and Eastern philosophy. I got better about that by the time I took my test, and there was only one passage it didn't work for. So, I skipped that one (I think I couldn't get into it because the passage was really convoluted, as many of them are), and came back to it. I say if one doesn't make sense, or you don't get into it, SKIP it and put it in the back of your mind. No reason to struggle through it and have it throw you on all the following passages, in my opinion.

How do you fool yourself into thinking things are interesting? I just lose it so often on those humanities passages it's just like, what is this loser talking about? I know this is exactly how the AAMC wants me to react so I get frustrated and screw up the verbal, thus protecting the integrity of their test, so how do I beat them?

Practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice and do heavy post game analysis...verbal practicing completely sucks hence why people avoid it until its too late to start working on it before test time.

By the way FARVE sucks and he won't do crap with the Vikings. Also Mark Sanchez is going to get owned and will become the new A-Rod choke artist of NY.

Go BIG BLUE WRECKING CREW - NY Football Giants Baby!!!
