I know this may not be the right place to post this, but I would like some advice on the matter. So a friend of mine just started PA school and has been out of school for multiple years. He is a sharp individual, but his foundation in the sciences is on the weaker side due to being out of school for so long and I am trying to help him through his didactic year in any way I possibly can. Can you guys recommend any materials/lecture videos to help strengthen his understanding of things such as pharm and portions of physio? And what can I possibly do to aid their understanding? Once again, I apologize if this is not the correct place to post this. I promise this is not some "pre-study for med school" thread.

I have a friend like this who entered pharm school. He was very attentive but was lacking in a solid foundation from undergrad. My knowledge of science was far greater than his at the time of our graduation. At the end of the day, you can only help so much. The materials required to succeed will most likely be provided in class and regardless of the foundation the person will either sink or swim. It is all about the amount of effort you put in. I don't think you can make a huge difference but that is just one dude's opinion.

BTW my friend is now in 2nd year pharm school and is close to the top of his class. Effort makes all the difference.
