Hi all. I'll be applying this upcoming cycle for the first try. I wanted to put my stats/experience out there and ask what suggestions anyone might have for improving my application before I apply this summer.

Undergrad: B.S. Health Promotion, American University
cGPA: 3.58
last 60 hours: 3.8
My pre-req GPA ranges based on school so I'll just include grades here: bio 1 (B-), bio 2 (B+), chem 1 (C, retook and got B+), anatomy 1 (B+), anatomy 2 (A-), exercise phys (A), psych (all As), stats (B-), physics 1 (A), physics 2 (B+), medical terminology (A).
I'm currently finishing chem 2 and will likely end up with a B+ or A- and abnormal psych which will probably be a B+.
GRE: 155 verbal, 150 quant, 4.5 writing (should I retake? 150 quant is only 39th percentile...)

Shadowing: 55 hours inpatient geriatrics + acute care, 45 hours outpatient pediatrics, 1000+ outpatient ortho. Outpatient ortho started as shadowing, turned into an internship, and now I'll work there full time during the year I apply.

Job history: other than working as an administrator at the outpatient ortho, I've been a nanny for a single family for 2.5 years.
Rec letters: 1 from PT co-worker at outpatient ortho setting, 1 PT from inpatient peds, my boss from nannying, and 1 from a professor in my major.
Campus involvement: student government photographer (3 years), director of transgender & non-binary collective (2 years), director of queer women's advocacy committee (1 year).
Other: certified functional movement screen level 1 instructor

Speaking of which, I'm also non-binary and will be looking for a way to incorporate this info into my application. My rec letters will be using gender neutral pronouns and I'll also reference it in my essay somehow (if possible). I just don't want to show up to interviews and have to explain that I go by a shortened version of my name and gender neutral pronouns and have everyone be shocked. Does anyone have any experience talking about personal identities in interviews/talking to admissions/essays/etc. and have any advice for me?

Anyway, those are my stats. Let me know if anything stands out as a red flag. Oh, and I'll list schools I'll likely apply to: UNC Chapel Hill, Winston-Salem State University, East Carolina University, Elon University, St. Catherine University, Western Carolina University, Mayo School of Health Sciences, Hampton University.

Retake some of those prereqs you got B's in. That's way too many to be competitive with other applicants.

Up that quant score if you can afford to retake the GRE, if not, then it's okay.

I didn't apply to any of the schools you're looking at, but just a heads up: many schools do blind interviews (I think that's what they call them), where the interviewer interviews applicants without having read their application.
