I am pretty down right now because two schools that I interviewed early at have began accepting people and I haven’t received anything. Neither school waitlists until the spring so not hearing anything is like getting rejected. I may have to gear up for a reapp but don’t know how to improve my application. Thanks in advance. Facts below

Stats
3.8x/524 from Williams College
Completed research project to get honors distinction (but no publication. Maybe this is the reason for lack of success?)
1000 hours as an emt
750+ community service hours

Applied broadly to 30 schools with about 15 being in top20. Complete early to mid august. Received 3 interviews so far, but like I said, two are likely out of the question now.

In my gap year I am working as a data scientist for a tech company but I doubt that this will be enough if I don’t get in. How should I aim to improve my app and sorry if this is on the wrong forum

I think you just have to wait now. It's still early.

Work on interview skills

Can you share the list of schools that you applied to?

Yes maybe this is it. I feel uncomfortable doing virtual interviews for some reason. Especially since I have a lazy eye.
Get surgery for the lazy eye perhaps? There are reliable surgical fixes.

Your stats are great, so it’s either your writing or your interview skills. Who reviewed your essays? Get in touch with your preprofessional advisor and do a practice interview; get some feedback. And don’t panic, it’s still very early for acceptances!

Your stats should be fine. It could be your writing, your interview skills or maybe it’s something in your ECs or LORs.
You have 1000 hours of EMT. Perhaps diversify your clinical experiences. Get some experience in a hospice, a clinic or hospital. Do you have any shadowing? You only need 50 hours including some with a primary care doc. What is thec750+ hours of Community Service. This is supposed to focus on service to the unserved/underserved in your community. Only you know if it does. Doctors deal with all kinds of people everyday. So should you. And maybe you have. All of these are just suggestions because you seem to want to improve your application. It might help to see your list of schools. Because it could be a bad list.
But as others have said, it’s early in the cycle. You’ve had 3 interviews when most applicants have none or one. Good luck as the cycle plays out.
