In my LOI I said: "I feel strongly that I am an excellent match for your school and that your school is a perfect match for my goals. If I am granted an interview, I believe your admissions committee will see how we will mutually benefit from my acceptance at your school."
Then the rest of the letter was basically my different qualifications and why those would benefit their school and why their school would help me further my skills in that area.
Have you been on an interview/tour yet? Cite specific experiences (people you interacted with, classes you may have sat through, etc) and incorporate your qualifications into them.

Good point. In general, don't tell, but show. Don't say, "I'd be a great fit" but draw up specific examples of things you've done (not plan-to-do) that fit in with specific examples of the medical school's mission, programs, etc.
