Case Western took a big knife, made it real sharp, heated it to a thousand degrees, dipped it in poison
and sent it through snail mail in form of a rejection ... They are such meanies

Did you apply to Lerner?
For some reason, Case rejected me but Lerner gave me an interview... I know that they have separate committees but I thought Lerner would be more selective than Case!!

Both Case programs are very selective, but there are some differences in the type of students they are looking for. That's why it's possible for Case to think that you're not a good fit for the University Program but CCLCM to think you are a good fit for our program, or vice versa. CCLCM has fewer interview slots and fewer seats, but we also have fewer apps. The applicants self-select to a large extent, because people without serious research interests and backgrounds won't even apply here but they might apply to the UP. So I don't think you can really say that this program is more or less selective versus the UP.Yeah, from what I understand it is a possibility to get rejected from case and not from lerner, but that still seems strange becasue Lerner seems way more selective. Your going to love Lerner though.
