How competitive is getting into MMEP??

I'm interested in applying. . .just want to know how flexible the ad coms are with the application requirements. If you've done it, state which site you were at. Thanx!

I attended Yale MMEP this past summer, stats- 3.7 GPA, moderate extracurriculars. Some of the Yale MMEPers had less than 3.0 GPA, and no extracurriculars. If you want to attend Yale MMEP, call the program coordinator and express your interest in the program . . . and APPLY EARLY!!! I cannot emphasize that enough. . . Start asking professors for recommendations. After you apply, you 'll hear a response from the sites within two weeks. Best of luck. . . I hope you choose Yale MMEP as one of your sites.

Some of my friends got in with less than a 3.0 as well. It's not supper competitve, just apply early!! And let the OMCA office know that your interested. There are 11 med schools that offer this program..for more info pm me.
