How did a school already receive my application?

Hello all,

So I am on the first mailing date (7/2), however, I just received an email from a University saying that they've received my application already and are currently evaluating me. Is this normal even though my AADSAS account says that it is gonna be sent on the 2nd?

From when I called AADSAS when I applied, once you e-submit, the schools have access to your application online, but the vast majority of them don't look at that, and just wait for the paper application to come in the mail.

I just got an email from UW and was wondering the same thing. Sorry, didn't mean to steal your satisfaction 😳.

It is normal for them to e-mail you that they received your application. Each school proceeds on their own schedule so once you get a response, start working on those secondaries and push them out.
