Out of curiosity, how did everyone feel walking out of CK? Did it feel like you rocked it? Or was there a bit of uncertainty walking out of it? If you've already received the result, how did you perform relative to how you felt walking out of it?
Also, how did it compare to your experience after you took Step I vs. how you actually did on it?
I didn't think Step II was THAT bad (less wtf questions than Step I).. alot of it was on par with USMLE World (maybe 10% of questions that tested the same exact concept), but a bunch of the questions (maybe 30%) felt like they required some thinking for you to recognize what concept they were testing.
Because I'm a relatively slow reader, I felt I didn't have enough time to think about the more complex questions and ended up just making obvious leaps based on key words (while I suspected there was something else going on that I was missing).. I marked these questions to come back to, but rarely actually had time to get back to review these by the end of the exam.
For the most part, I felt that the questions on the actual CK were longer than the typical UW.. so while I finished with time to spare on UW, i had trouble getting through the vignettes on CK.
As a result I have no idea how i did walking out of it and I'm scared that I may not have done as well as I would have hoped or was capable of.
So what is your experience?
